Parsons Nationwide
Distribution is based 5 miles from junction 30 off the M5, near
Exeter. It was founded in 1929 by Robert Parsons, operating
one vehicle, and today operates a modern fleet of 75 vehicles and
trailers nationwide. Our fleet includes tautliners, tippers, cranes and
refrigerated units, providing a comprehensive, nationwide service. This
incorporates a next day pallet delivery network with traffic control
being provided by a computerised vehicle planning
system. We offer covered warehousing on a single site where stock
control and stock rotation is available when required. Items with a
limited storage life can be kept in secure, dry conditions. External
hard standing is also available on a single site for products suitable
for outside storage. As a family run business we pride
ourselves in offering a first class service.
With four purpose built double deck trailers, each with a capacity to carry over 50 pallets, running to a central hub in the Midlands every night Parsons are able to deliver pallets nationwide on a Timed, AM, Next Day and Economy service, with a two to three day service to Ireland and three – four day delivery service to the rest of Europe.
Established in 1929 Parsons has over 75 years of experience in general haulage specialising in full loads and multi location deliveries throughout the United Kingdom. Running a fleet of over 30 articulated vehicles pulling both curtainside and flat bed trailers we can arrange deliveries and collections of large and small consignments on a next day, timed and economy service
