Transport Description
We now have a fleet of over 45 trucks, 4 with Hiab lorry mounted cranes, and access to over a 100 trailers. These comprise 42 ft flat beds, extendable up to 120 ft, low loaders, step frame, curtain side and tipping trailers.As we have grown, we have added to our haulage fleet, six all terrain mobile cranes, ranging from 15 to 80 tonnes and various items of heavy plant. We have recently purchased another livestock trailer, which was built to the highest specification for this type of transport. Our business began locally, mainly transporting livestock and agricultural products, but we soon realised the potential market for other haulage and began to transport rail, pig iron and furnace bricks for the then British Steel Corporation.
