Chestminster offer a full UK distribution service with vehicles ranging from a four wheel 7.5 ton rigid, a 26 ton rigid with a tail lift through to 44 ton artics with either flat or curtain sided trailers. Deliveries can be from 1- 26 standard pallets or 1 – 33 euro pallets. There is also the option of a curtain side trailer with a roll back roof for over height items or for loads that need to be crane loaded. We also run a semi low loader for the transport of fork lifts and other miscellaneous plant. For customers that require regular collections from their premises we can leave ‘stand’ trailers which gives customers the option of loading the trailer in their own time so it is ready just to exchange at the end of the day.
Chestminster offer extensive storage facilities for either pallet or bulk storage in our modern and spacious high bay warehouses. We are fully experienced in handling dated products and rotating to date order. Stock reconciliations are carried out on a monthly basis to ensure that all stock records are in perfect order. If required we can handle all the despatching of your goods directly to your customer. This can be by the pallet load, or a pallet delivery made up from picking from several of your product lines to make up an order. Once the pallet is picked, it is machine wrapped then labelled ready for transport. All warehouses benefit from a fully monitored and recorded security system including internal and external cameras and our site is manned 24 hours a day.
